Kotoko Among the Greatest Teams of the World

Kumasi Asante Kotoko is officially placed in the Pantheon with the greatest football teams of the world since last Tuesday May 11th.

Kotoko was honored in a special ceremony in London, held by FIFA, as the top team for the Century in Africa. The greatest teams of the rest parts of the world that were honored on the same day by FIFA were Real Madrid (Europe), Penarol Uruguay (South America), Asante Kotoko Ghana (Africa), Al Hilal Saudi Arabia (Asia), Saprissa Costa Rica (Central and North America), Hellas Melbourne(Oceania).

This Gala event, hosted by FIFA “History and Statistics” Committee, honored with their presence many stars of the world’s football industry.
