Firm setting up $30m Islamic university in Ghana

Doha-based Ghanim Bin Saad Al Saad & Sons Group is setting up the first Islamic university in Ghana at an estimated cost of $30mn.

“It is not a joint venture. We are setting up the university on our own. A few days ago we met our consultants to finalise the Ghana project,” Chairman and CEO Ghanim bin Saad al-Saad told Gulf Times. He said the company was in the process of setting up many schools in Qatar, which follow the American, Canadian, British and Arabic streams of education.
