MTN launches Connect Stores at Somanya

Somanya, Nov. 18, GNA - Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) has launched "Connect Stores" at Somanya aimed at helping to improve customer=

service in the area. Mr Naabea Asante, the Branch Network Service Senior Manager of MTN, s= aid the company had found it necessary to bring a variety of reliable telecommunications services to the doorsteps of its customers. He said this year the company had rolled out a host of products and services that met the needs of different segments of the public. "We are extremely proud of these services which include the latest 3.5= G technology, Mobile Money, MTN Community Phones, the introduction of our recharge cards in lower denominations and recently the 3G bundle". Mr Asante said the MTN Connect Stores would also provide opportunitie= s for young people to gain employment and many other business opportunities= .. Mr Andrew Sodah, the District Chief Executive for Yilo Krobo, said=

the initiative would contribute to offering services and products in previously underserved towns and villages. He assured the company that the district assembly would continue to partner them to ensure that the quality of customer service in the distri= cts improved greatly. Mr Sodah urged MTN to be guided by the standards it had set for itself=

and the promise it made to Ghanaians by ensuring that all the remotest pa= rts of the country received coverage. He appealed to personnel in the Connect Stores to be patient and understanding as they interact with customers.
