Moldovian Discredits JAK's Govt

.... OVER SOJA BAR CHILD PROSTITUTE SAGA ....SAYS JOURNALISTS ARE PROSECUTED

Moldovian Tatiana Kotyerenko, Executive Director of Enslavement Prevention Alliance (EP) West Africa, whose role in the Soja Bar child prostitute raid attracted media attention, is alleged to have told lies about the government of Ghana to the international community in her attempt to gain favour for her NGO.

In a document intercepted by THE SUN to international agencies, Tatiana claimed that Kufuor's government was prosecuting journalists who conducted or investigated stories on child prostitution and human trafficking.

"The brave journalists doing this type of work here face threats and possible prosecution from the government," Tatiana in desperate attempt to draw international support for her NGO wrote.

According to Tatiana, the government was doing virtually nothing about the Soja Bar child prostitution case which was initially reported in the Ghanaian Observer newspaper. "We would like you to see if it would be possible to collaborate with you to create international pressure on the Ghanaian government to address this situation, especially in lieu of the upcoming Cup of African Nations in January, where thousands of girls are being currently prepared for prostitution for the tournament," Tatiana wrote.

According THE SUN's sources at the Department of Social welfare, Tatiana's NGO was operating illegally since it had not received green light for operations in Ghana. All efforts to reach Tatiana proved futile, including the questionnaire >sent to her via email.
