Kofi Asamoah takes seat on SSNIT Board

Accra, Feb. 15, GNA - Mr. Kofi Asamoah, the Acting Secretary-General of Ghana Trade Union Congress (TUC) has been sworn in as the TUC's representative on the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) Board. He replaces Mr. Kwesi Adu-Amankwah, the Former Secretary-General of Ghana TUC, who is now the General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation - African Regional Organisation (ITUC-Africa). A statement issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MFEP) said Mr Asamoah swore the official oath and the oath of secrecy in the presence of Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei, Minister of State in charge of Finance and Economic Planning. Other personalities present were Nana Juaben-Boaten Siriboe, Chief Director and Paul Asimenu Director of Legal Division of the MFEP.
