New cedi note involved in freak accident

The fire fighting team of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is making efforts to bring back to its landing position, a cargo plane, carrying new Ghana cedi notes, which tilted at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in its attempt to land last night.

The tilted plane had its tail touching the ground while the nose was facing upwards.

The new Ghana cedi notes are meant to be put in circulation in July was involved in a freak accident at the Kotoka International Airport.
