CEPS Wins Cup

The Basketball team of CEPS, The Braves put up a splendid performance to win the four-nation international basketball tourney at the Lebanon House Courts, Tudu, in Accra.

They beat Shepherds of Tema by 52 to 45 points. Shepherds, who started on a low key, opened up half way through to score some spectacular baskets. But The Braves held up stoutly to win the tournament. Other clubs that took part in the tournament are AS-Sonaby of Burkina Faso, Postel Club of Benin and Aiglons of Togo. AS-Sonaby placed third, Postel fourth, and Aiglons occupied the fifth place.

Each of the participating teams was presented with a trophy.
