Stay away from insulting Razak Opoku - Concern NPP Members

Concerned NPP members in the Ashanti Region, a group affiliated with the ruling party has warned Bono Regional chairman, Kwame Baffoe known in the political circles as Abronye to cease the media attack on Razak Kojo Opoku, the Public Relations Officer of the National Lottery Authority.

The group in a statement signed by its convenor Kwadwo Awuah, said it is appalled by the attack on Razak Kojo Opoku who has been a loyal servant to the ruling party.

“We the aforementioned group are shocked by the recent unwarranted attacks on the person of our hardworking patriot, Mr. Razak Kojo Opoku in the media by Mr. Abronye and his cohorts. It is unfortunate committed members are allowed to be run down by people who think the NPP is their bonafide property.

“We would like to advise Mr. Abronye and his likes to desist from attacking Mr. Razak Kojo Opoku. Mr. Razak Kojo Opoku has contributed significantly to the growth of the NPP in the Ashanti region and Ghana as a whole since 2016 and we won’t sit and fold our arms for self-centred people like Mr. Abronye to bring him down,” parts of the statement read.

The group further stated Razak has remained committed to the party and served it diligently.

“Mr. Kojo Opoku’s sterling performance at the NLA must be commended by all instead of the attacks on him in the media by individuals who should know better. We are going to deal ruthlessly with any group of people who would want to soil the hard-won reputation of our hardworking patriot Mr. Razak Kojo Opoku henceforth.

We are by this release sending a strong warning to Mr. Abronye to stop his needless accusations in the media else we might be forced to come after him and his bunch of liars peddling falsehood about our dedicated brother, Mr. Razak Kojo Opoku”.
