Kotoko Transfer Lists Top Players

This year's ritual of player-transfer in Kumasi Asante Kotoko is being undertaken with extreme caution.. Confidential sources have revealed that although a recruitment team is working on the exercise, Coach Ernst Middendorp has the final say "on who comes in and who goes out." The coach has compiled his own ratings on player-performance, in addition to discipline and total commitment. This would be used in evaluating the retention or otherwise of the players on the pay roll.

Based on his own observation the coach has also identified certain players he would like to have in the team. These would join the team after further scrutiny. Among the identified players are Sulley Muntari, Isaac Boakye or Kwakye, Kofi Asiedu and Kwame Antwi both of Bofoakwa.

By the coach's yardstick certain Kotoko players are likely to be on the transfer list. Among the names doing the rounds are: Humphrey Amoah, Charles Asamoah, Michael Ofori Mensah, Gabriel Opoku Ware, Kambou Sie Clovis, Dennis Boateng and Mustapha Ahmed.

The full list of new players and those to be put on the transfer list is expected to come out soon.
