GSE All-Share Index inches up

Accra, Jan. 23, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark index of the Accra bourse, on Tuesday inched up in dull trading that saw less than 12,000 shares changing hands.

The Index went up by 0.002 points to 5,009.638 points on the strength of only one price change, a two-cedi gain by Enterprise Insurance Company, which ended at 8,823 cedis.

Total shares traded fell again to 11,700 from 46,200 on Monday but change for the year to date remained at 0.07 per cent. Market capitalization closed slightly higher at 112,517.84 billion cedis from Monday's 112,517.79 billion cedis.
