Accra stock index slides again

Accra, Sept. 29, GNA - The main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) slid again in trading on Friday following another loss by SG-SSB. The GSE All-Share Index, the main benchmark, went down by 4.82 points at 4,943.45 points from 4,948.27 points.

Change for the year slipped further to 3.66 per cent from 3.76 per cent.

Traded shares were slightly lower at 235,100 from 281,400 shares. On the broader market there were three price changes, two up and one down.

SG-SSB lost 200 cedis at 6,000 cedis, Aluworks gained six cedis at 7,010 cedis and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited inched up by one cedi at 9,253 cedis.

Market Capitalisation was down at 111,397.88 billion cedis.
