Priestess Return With Eggs, Schnapps

THE three fetish priestesses who allegedly pronounced a curse on personnel of the La Police Station, returned to the station on Wednesday to revoke the curse following the police threat to arrest them.

The three priestesses, this time dressed in their normal topless traditional white cloth, and accompanied by a retinue, arrived at the police station at about 5.30 p.m., carrying eggs and schnapps.

They recited some incantations before breaking the eggs and pouring down the drink to signify the reversal of the curse.

On their first call at the police station to invoke the gods against the police for refusing to release some drivers who had been arrested, the priestesses were naked.

Wednesday’s ritual attracted a large crowd to the station to witness the priestesses overturn the curse.

After the ceremony, they pleaded with the police to drop criminal charges against them.

The La Divisional Police Commander, Assistant Superintendent Nyamekye Adane-Ameyaw, told the Times yesterday that the police will not press any criminal charges against them since they had rendered an apology to the police.

The police on Friday, launched a manhunt for the three fetish priestesses to reverse a curse they allegedly pronounced on the police at the station following the arrest of some drivers in the La community for wrongful parking.
