The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama, has inaugurated an eleven-member Governing Board of the Zongo Development Fund (ZoDF) at the Jubilee House.
The ZoDF, established as the government’s frontline agency for accelerating the development of Zongo communities, is expected to drive inclusive policies and initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and infrastructure in these communities.
Administering the Official Oath and Oath of Secrecy on Friday, September 19, 2025, Debrah urged the new board to work diligently and faithfully to implement the President’s vision for enhanced development in Zongo areas.
Sarki Alhaji Salisu Maude, an accomplished entrepreneur and philanthropist who serves on the board, expressed appreciation to the President for the trust reposed in them.
He assured that members would bring their expertise and commitment to bear in delivering on their mandate.

The inauguration marks a significant step in the government’s commitment to ensuring inclusive national development through the empowerment of Zongo communities.
