Zamstech maintains high academic performance

Bolgatanga, June 14, GNA - The staff and students of the Zamse Senio= r High

and Technical School (Zamstech) in Bolgatanga have been commended for their

good conduct and academic performance. Mr Francis Banbogo, Headmaster of the school, said the academic performance

of the students has been good as the school had maintained a performance rate of

over 95 per cent passes at the West Africa Certificate Examination (WACE). He urged students to attend classes regularly to keep up with the good

performance. The Headmaster was speaking at a special send off party organized by the school

for four of its retired staff. They include Mr Peter Akuto, the former Head Master, Mr Roland Atibila, the

former Assistant Head Master, Mr Peter Atuna, Store Keeper and Afalanse Fra= fra,

Labourer. He commended the retired persons for their hard work towards the development

of the school and called on the other workers who were still in active service to

emulate them. Mr Banbogo later presented awards to the retirees. On behalf of his colleagues, Mr Akuto thanked the school management for the

kind gesture rendered them and commended the first Headmaster of the School= , Mr

David Kanga who is now the Operations Director of the National Electoral

Commission, for his hard work towards the establishment of the school.
