The leadership of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it would hold Minister of State in charge of National Security, Bryan Acheampong accountable for anything that would happen to its Ashanti Regional Communications Officer, Abass Nurudeen.

Regional Secretary, Kwame Zu revealed that threats by the Minister will not be taken lightly hinting of plans by the secretariat to report to the matter to regional police command.

“The Ashanti Regional Secretariat of the NDC would not take Bryan Acheampong’s threat on your life lightly. We would report to the regional police command on Monday. Before then, the Regional Executive Committee would hold Bryan Acheampong responsible if anything happens to you. May Allah protect you from all evil”, he said in a statement sighted by MyNewsGh.com.

Mr. Acheampong on Wednesday vowed to screw the stupidity from Nurudeen Abass over some unsubstantiated allegations.

The Member of Parliament (MP) of Abetifi constituency in the Eastern Region who weighed among six options in dealing with the NDC executive for peddling falsehood that a container load of AK47 assault rifles were imported by him, said he was also considering praying for him. 1. Get him arrested to prove his allegation.

2. Sue him for defamation

3. Mechanically remove the stupidity out of him

4. Continue to pray for him

5. Report him to the peace council

6. Report him to the NDC.

Me, my heart is for #4 but my mind tilts towards #3.
