You’re going to a blessed country – Prof. Amoako to National Association of Women

Executives and members of the National Association of Women in New York on April 5, 2019 paid a courtesy call on the Consul General of the Consulate General of Ghana in New York, Professor Samuel Amoako as they prepare to visit Ghana.

Professor Amoako in addressing the group told them how blessed Ghana is and assured them their visit will be a memorable one. He educated the group on the structure of Ghana's governance system, the education system, the rich culture of Ghana and the unique coexistence between Muslims and Christians.

The National Association of University Women was formed in April 1924 in the United States of America.

The association is a service and educational organization. They are proactive in women education, living condition at its initial but contemporarily has evolved to involve major civic and national issues such as business opportunities for all African Americans, mental health, child welfare, improvement of interracial and international relations.

They will visit Ghana in commemoration of the Year of Return and also embark on cultural and service experience from April 18-27, 2019.
