Yaw Boateng Gyan threatens to go public on Mills' killers

The National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Yaw Boateng Gyan has warned that he will not hesitate to descend into the gutter, if his opponent does not desist from destroying his name.

Mr. Boateng Gyan did not mention any particular name, but he has threatened to open the “Pandora’s box” and reveal secrets that will shock the country.

“I hear my opponent has been going round with a certain tape about my alleged involvement in the World Cup in Brazil. I am not worried, but people should know that there are so many tapes that we can also play,” he threatened.

Citing specifically, events that unfolded in the run-up to the 2012 elections, Mr. Gyan, who was speaking in an interview with HELLO FM recently, insinuated, “Let’s not forget how someone said he would make sure the late President Mills did not run the second term; in his case, not only did President Mills not run for the second term but he (President Mills) can’t be found today amongst the living and these are the people we are dealing with.”

When pushed to be emphatic on his statement by King Edward, the host of the programme, Mr. Gyan said he would not like to go further, but would rather leave it to the judgment of listeners repeating, however, that “not only was President Mills unable to run the second term but today when we are searching for him, we can’t find him.

Mr. Yaw Boateng Gyan also told the host that he was banking on his “soft hands” (magnanimity) and his hard work to retain his position in the upcoming National Congress of the party slated for Kumasi on December 20.

Mr. Gyan says no executive member in the ruling party is as kind to the grassroot supporters as he is, a feat which according to him, can be attested by every single member of the party.

According to the NDC National organizer, who is facing stiff competition from the Spokesperson of former president Rawlings, Kofi Adams, delegates of the party will not forget his generosity which extends to every single corner of the country, expressing optimism that he will retain his seat without any sweat.

Mr. Baoteng Gyan, however, said he was least perturbed by the propaganda machinery being employed by his opponent, since it will do little to convince the delegates to vote against him.

“Every single supporter of the NDC knows I am very kind to them; I give everything I have anywhere I meet them, come to the headquarters and ask about my benevolence,” Mr. Gyan Bragged.
