Woyome appears in court after trip abroad

Embattled businessman Alfred Woyome appeared in court on Tuesday morning regarding the GH¢51 million judgment debt, between him and the State.

Woyome who was granted permission from the court to travel aboard was criticised by a section of the public whether he would return to continue the case or not.

Mr Woyome’s special Aide, Kwame Tawiah, explained to XYZ News that the presence of his boss in court today vindicates his commitment to the hearing. He also added that it’s mind-sickening that anyone could think that Woyome traveled and wouldn’t come back.

The case today saw one of the key prosecution witnesses, Waterville testify in court.

Mr Woyome’s counsel will cross-examine the Waterville witness tomorrow.

Kwame Tawiah told XYZ News that Waterville’s testimony to a large extent supports his boss’ claims.
