Seasoned journalist, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has torn the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Bosiako into shreds for accusing investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Bernard Antwi Bosiako, popularly called Wontumi reportedly accused Anas of doctoring interviews he has with people.

He stated on Adom TV that he once pulled a gun on Anas due to his dubious modus operandi.

To him, Anas shouldn't be hailed to be a "Saviour", saying he knows "Anas to be a Mahama Boy. He works for the NDC. He is a very corrupt guy and very soon I will come out. I once pulled a gun on him… If you take his tapes to the lab, you can detect they have been cut and some taken out; that is what will make you know he is a liar".

But addressing the claims by Wontumi, Kweku Baako called his bluff asserting that he (Wontumi) has a low level of intelligence on the Anas' issue.

He stated categorically that there's no instance of Anas duping Wontumi nor has he ever done anything that amounts to corruption as the NPP Regional Chairman claims.

According to him, Anas' case is too big for Wontumi's comprehension, adding he has nothing to expose about the investigative Journalist.

In fact, Kweku Baako dared Wontumi saying "he should talk. He knows nothing. I’m sure he’s also been recruited. NPP is such a formidable political party and to have their strongest hold Chairman to mud himself is unfortunate. Anas has met Wontumi only once in his life. They’ve never met again. Wontumi doesn’t know Anas…”
