Reverend Prophet Prince Kofi Okyere, President of Faith Anointing International Ministries, has called on women to always pray for their families, the nation and the world.
He said science and technology was exposing children to negative foreign cultures such as homosexuality, drug abuse and indecent dressing, and that Ghanaian women ought to pray for God’s intervention.
Rev. Okyere made the call at the launch of a conference of the church at Abokobi-Pantang, near Madina in the Greater Accra Region on Wednesday.
The conference under the theme: "Destroying my Enemies into the Red Sea," is aimed at molding the character of women and the youth, and also pray for peace and stability in the country. The conference forms part of activities to mark International Women’s Day on Saturday, March 8.
The conference which begins on Tuesday, March 18, will end on Sunday, March 23.
Rev. Okyere said when women fail to pray, evil would take the place of righteousness and instead of peace there will be chaos.
He appealed to Ghanaians to stand for peace and unity, and to avoid tribalism.
