Women should allow Holy Spirit to lead them - Rev. Kuhlor

Reverend Edith Adoblosu Kuhlor, National Coordinator of the Women’s Ministry of the Global Evangelical Church, has called on Christians, especially women, to allow the Holy Spirit to use them.

She said Christians should give priority to the things of God, adding: “When you serve God, He will serve you.”

Rev. Adoblosu–Kuhlor was speaking at the 2nd Presbytery Rally of the Church in Takoradi on the theme: “Knowing God, The Holy Spirit,” which attracted members of the women’s ministry.

She said the Holy Spirit as a person has a mind, will, emotions and could speak, so Christians should make Him their best friend.

“Not only has He got the attributes of a person, but He also performs the functions of a person such as teaching, instruction, interceding, comforting, leading, witnessing, testifying, controlling, justifying and sanctifying.

“I need to quickly caution that, in our walk with Him, we must be holy, never to tempt or grieve Him but enjoy fellowship with Him.”

Rev. Patrick Avettey, Takoradi Presbytery Chairman said, women’s contribution towards the development of the family in particular and the society at large could not be over emphasized.

He encouraged them never to give up in the face of challenges but to rely solely on God and the Holy Spirit to direct them.

The women were taking through a number of teachings on the theme, held a symposium on marriage and a deliverance session.
