Wisewater donates white boards to Nima schools

The Wisewater Foundation, a non-governmental organization, on Wednesday, donated 10 white boards and markers to the Nima Cluster of Schools in Accra.

The donation was sponsored by the IFC financial service at the cost of GH¢2,500.

Mr Emmanuel Amarquaye, the Executive Chairman of Wisewater Foundation, said the donation was part of a project to replace black boards in various schools, adding that over 40 schools had so far benefitted.

He said students were constrained when it came to logistics to help in the delivery of quality education and pledged to work to ensure that schools have access to well-equipped classrooms to promote faster learning.

He urged the pupils to take their studies seriously so as to become responsible citizens in the future.

Mr Kojo Ohene-Kyei, Chief Executive Officer of IFS Financial Service, said management of the company believed in contributing to the transformation of the lives of people, hence its partnership with Wisewater to provide the white boards.

He said school children represented the future of the country, and it was a privilege to invest in them.

He advised the pupils to strive for excellence, to become useful and productive citizens, and also urged parents and guardians not to neglect their children, but rather support and guide them towards the realisation of their dreams.

Mr Samuel Adonti, an official of the Ayawaso East Sub Metro Education Office, commended Wisewater Foundation and IFS Financial Service for the donation.
