Who Gets the Seat? On Vibe 91.9 FM

Sapphire Ghana Limited, a leading independent production company responsible for the creation of several innovative programmes for Radio and Television is at it again.

The CEO of the company, Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM), who is also the host of the popular talk show, TALK SHOP on Vibe 91.9 FM, will from 26th September 2000, be at the centre of an interesting political interaction on Radio.

This interaction will take place at the Vibe Cafe and will bring together all contestants of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Accra, in a live face-to- face encounter with a cross section of their constituents.

The historic encounter will provide an opportunity for the aspiring candidates and incumbent MPs to present their message to the electorate. Issues to be addressed will focus primarily on problems confronting their constituents and subsequently, the nation as a whole.

Guests on the programme shall also have the honour of quizzing and seeking the views of the contestants on specific issues.

The objective of this innovative programme is to enable the electorate make informed decision on who is best suited to represent them in parliament.

The maiden edition of the programme will see an encounter between the contestants vying for Ablekuma South constituency with its incumbent MP, Hon. Theresa Ameley Tagoe. Kick off is at 10am.
