Accra, May 10, GNA - The weather will be variably cloudy over the country, but partly cloudy conditions will prevail in the morning over the northern and coastal sector, the Meteorological Service Department said on Monday.

As a result, it would be sunny, hot and humid over places during the day, it said adding that the middle and northern sector would experience few thunderstorms or rain showers in the afternoon over places.

The night would be relatively warm over the northern and coastal sectors, but the middle sector would be cool.

Maximum and minimum temperatures between 0600 hours on Monday and 0600 hours on Tuesday were given as: coastal areas, between 33 and 25 degrees Celsius, forest and mountainous areas, between 34 and 23 degrees Celsius and Northern Ghana, between 35 and 25 degrees Celsius.
