Coastal belt will be sunny and windy during the day - Meteo

Widespread mist or fog patches will form over coastal and sheltered areas Wednesday morning, followed by sunny with high temperatures in the afternoon over southern part of the country, the Meteorological Services Department said on Tuesday. It said thunderstorms or showers would occur over most forest and hilly areas late afternoon or evening while the coastal belt will be sunny during the day with showers in the night or early hours of Thursday, especially over the western coast.

Northern Ghana will remain dry and slightly hazy with formation of few clouds during the period.

Maximum and minimum temperatures between 0600 hours on Wednesday and 0600 on Thursday were given as: coastal areas, between 33 and 26 degrees Celsius, forest and mountainous areas, between 35 and 23 degrees Celsius and Northern Ghana, between 39 and 25 degrees Celsius.
