Weather Forecast

The weather will be misty and fogy over southern Ghana - Meteo

Due to the intensification of the high pressure over North Africa, there is the reintroduction of the dry dusty winds into the northern sector of the sub-region. The average moisture depth over the country is still below 1000 metres. Despite these conditions there would still be clouds that would build up over the sea and drift into the coastal belt and the immediate highlands. The morning would therefore be misty or foggy over most southern stations becoming slightly hazy with local thunderstorms or showers over few coastal areas and high grounds this afternoon or tonight.

Northern Ghana would experience very low humidity and visibility values in dust haze during the forecast period.

Maximum and minimum temperatures between 0600 hours on Tuesday and 0600 hours on Wednesday were given as: coastal areas, between 32 and 25 degrees Celsius, forest and mountainous areas, between 35 and 23 degrees Celsius and Northern Ghana, between 37 and 21 degrees Celsius.
