Management of Kessben FM has categorically denied being the source of information to Times reporter Kingsley Hope as published by classfmonline and copied by Ghanaweb.
In a letter signed by the General Manager of the station, Mr. Andrew Danso-Aninkora, chanced upon by kessbenfm.com and sent to classfmonline, the General Manager stated that
“The attention of Kessben fm has been drawn to a story on the website of classfmonline.com which was copied to Ghanaweb.
The story attributes the source of the Times reporter’s story on the final autopsy report of the late Confidence K. Baah to the management of Kessben FM.
Management wishes to categorically deny talking to any reporter of Ghanaian Times on any such issue. Management wish to put on record that no autopsy report of the dead worker has been made known to the station and has no hand in any story on social media pertaining to any such report. Again no staff in any official capacity confirmed any story.”
Further investigations by kessbefm.com reveal that the interview granted to Accra FM on the issue of autopsy report on Confidence Baah, Mr. Hope didn’t mention the management of the station but rather a personal friend at kessben Television.
This from all indications did not constitute a confirmation of any story. Further checks also indicates that there were no reports released to any body and that the discussion between the reporter and friend did not border on autopsy report release.
