We do not have information on IFC - World Bank to GRi

Ghana Review International called the World Bank Office in Accra and a reliable source told their correspondent that the Ghana office of the Bank does not have any information on the Consortium which is contracting the said loan for Ghana.

?We do not have information about International Finance Consortium in the Ghana Office of the World Bank?, the source said.

According to him, the Accra office only knows about the International Finance Corporation (IFC) (website) an affiliate of the World Bank.

When GRi pressed further to speak to the Country Director, he said the new Director was still in Washington and had not yet resumed duty.
