The National Chairman of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Prof. Edmund Delle, has attested to the fact that majority of Nkrumahists have not propagated Osagyefuo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s ideas and ideals over the years.

He admitted that Nkrumahists have failed to lift high the flag of Nkrumahism.

"Of course we accept us human beings that those of us who call ourselves Nkrumahists, probably we have not lifted high that flag of idealism that Osagyefuo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah propounded and tried to live by that and in search for that he died for his country and Africa.

I'm happy to know that the former president is bringing this forth, because he was the one who criticised that the only thing Nkrumah brought was the flag. I accept the criticisms as a normal thing to criticise a group of people who want to follow the ideals and ideas of Osagyefuo.

Reacting to Former President Jerry .J. Rawlings’ comments on Ultimate breakfast show hosted by Lantam Papanko, he dispelled allegations that Nkrumahists are criminals.

"I don’t think that its every Nkrumahists is a criminal, I won’t agree… we may not have been able to follow his ideals in total, its painful for you to say that, but I think it may be a bit too much to say that," he debunked the rumour.

Former President Rawlings addressing some Cuban professional at his residence slammed Nkurmahists for failing to project Nkrumah’s ideals, describing them as failures.

"Those who call themselves as Nkrumahists are the worst of failures, criminals, not even one single policy resembles what Nkrumah believed in" Former President Rawlings alleged.
