As the D-day draws near and the verdict gradually becoming clearer, certain characters belonging to the Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings - FONKAR cult are admitting that they have allied themselves with their candidate, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, just for the sole purpose of feeding fat off her; and that, not because they know she will beat His Excellency President Atta Mills come the Saturday party congress voting.

Enjoying their newfound free wealth, and with no responsibilities on their shoulders, the FONKAR elements spend their time moving from one drinking spot to another, often drunk, and displaying wealth, as they belch out the real motives for doing what they are doing. The likes of Ernest Owusu-Bempah and Della Coffie, are spotted in the company of Randy Abbey, Anthony Karbo, Kabila, and other NPP apparatchiks enjoying Konadu’s money, as well as strategizing on the types of insults that should be hurled at President Mills and members of his Administration.

SEMIS Spot at Adabraka (reportedly owned by NPP’s Randy Abbey), has become the home of members of FONKAR, where they meet with their NPP counterparts of Randy and Anthony Karbo, to have fun and squander the money that they are making from Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.

The diaper-wearing political infants who are young enough to be Konadu’s children and grandchildren, have turned the SEMIS Spot into their watering hole, where they meet to blow the cash that they get from using the name of Konadu to hurl insults at His Excellency President Atta Mills and very senior members of the NDC.

Under the influence of alcohol, and flood of cigarette smoke puffed through their ears, noses, and mouths, Owusu-Bempah, Della Coffie and cohorts keep blurting out the fact that they know that the former First Lady will not win. Hypnotised with alcohol, Owusu-Bempah and co brag on top of their voices about how they are making a lot of money from giving Konadu wrong information, as well as, continuously hurling insults at President Mills and his appointees.

“Nana Konadu has a lot of cash and we have made some good money over the short period that we have been working for her, under the umbrella of FONKAR”, Owusu-Bempah is reported to have blurted out during one of his moments of trance, at SEMIS.

“Some of us are really wishing that the congress will be postponed, because once it is over, it is not likely that the money will flow again. Indeed, we will be badly exposed for feeding Nana Konadu with wrong information about her chances for victory, and we may not be able to get close to her again” Owusu-Bempah is reported to have said.

“We saw Kweku Eshun being thrown out of ‘Ridge’ after he’d failed to become General Secretary at the Tamale congress, and the fear is that we shall also be thrown out after we have lost in Sunyani. Actually, it is the fear of being thrown out that is making us intensify the agenda of providing wrong information and insulting the President, so that we can make some more money before congress”; Della Coffie was overheard belching out.

Indeed, Owusu-Bempah is reported to be boasting that he has conned Nana Konadu into renting a house for him at Regimanuel Gray Estates, off the Spintex Road. For a bunch of infants who do not belong to any constituency, and are not known-members of the NDC, it is pretty obvious that the “greedy bastards” that they are, and looking to cash-in on the friction within the NDC, Owusu-Bempah, Della Coffie and Co, are nothing but leeches and fifth columnists, whose real agenda is to work against the interest of the NDC.

It is very sad the way wife of NDC’s Founder, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings has not only allowed diaper-wearing infants to use her name for their personal benefit, but also help them go around town bragging about how they have conned the former First Lady into believing that she will become the NDC’s next Presidential Candidate.

Feeding their Madam with complete falsehood so as to achieve their intended purpose was not hidden at all, as it became evidence on the part of Ernest Owusu-Bempah on Monday 4th July 2011, during his interview with Peace FM when he attempts to blackmail His Excellency the Vice President, John Dramani Mahama of having made some disparaging remarks about ex-President Jerry John Rawlings, citing an intelligence that he had picked up.

It is indeed sad, that the former First Lady has allowed these political-toddlers to bully her to the extent of encouraging her to put all her resources to waste; and then brag of having made enough money from feeding her with lies.
