"Some of you when you hear five for GH¢10, three for GH¢2 you quickly rush to buy and use for you Christmas meal not knowing that such products may have expired long ago," he said.

He advised them to watch their expenditure because life did not end with Christmas; " from January 2020 you will eat, pay school fees, go to work and see to other responsibilities so you must save some money for the weeks ahead," he said.

He said it was sad to know that many spent their bonuses, allowance and all they had in the name if Christmas and had to resort to borrowing within the first Month of the coming year.

"Jesus was born not to make us broke," he said.

He said the season was a good time to fellowship with God and the church, family and make peace where there were a broken relationship.

He said this was the time to reflect on the past and gather strength for the coming year.

Coating from Isaiah chapter nine he said celebrate this Christmas in love, peace and righteousness for thus was the reason for the Messiah's birth.
