A woman has been captured in a viral video fiercely resisting a demolition exercise by the Ga East Municipal Assembly after being asked to vacate the property.

According to a video shared by Channel One TV on Facebook on June, 3, 2026, the incident unfolded as officials moved in to execute the operation, sparking a heated confrontation between the assembly’s task force and the woman.

Eyewitnesses reported that the refusal temporarily stalled the exercise, drawing the attention of onlookers in the area.

"Destroy the building and kill me," she was heard saying in the 27-second video while standing by her property.

Assembly officials emphasised that the demolition was part of an ongoing effort to clear unauthorised structures, insisting that due notice had been given to affected occupants.
