The Chief of Staff at the Office of the Vice President, Alex Segbefia, and the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, added colour to the ongoing Mother’s Day celebration at Jubilee House by joining a vibrant cultural dance session.

In a viral video, the two dignitaries are captured dancing enthusiastically alongside celebrants, drawing cheers and applause from attendees.

Mother’s Day, observed on the second Sunday in May, is a day dedicated to celebrating mothers, mother figures, and the influence of mothers in society.

In Ghana, the day is marked with various activities, including church services, gifts, special events, and community recognitions.

The day also serves as a heartfelt reminder to honour the nurturing, strength, and selfless love of mothers, whose sacrifices often form the backbone of families and communities.
