Member of Parliament for Abetifi and former Minister for Food and Agriculture, Dr Bryan Acheampong, received a rousing welcome from enthusiastic supporters as he arrived at the 2025 New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Delegates Conference.
The event, taking place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on July 19, 2025, has drawn thousands of party delegates from across the country.
Dressed in a white long-sleeved shirt, black trousers, and a red cap, Dr Acheampong waved NPP paraphernalia as he made his way toward the conference grounds.
As he approached the venue, supporters swarmed around him, chanting and cheering his name.
The atmosphere was charged with excitement, with shouts of “No size! No size!” echoing from the crowd as a show of admiration for the MP.
At one point, a group of female supporters, also clad in white, crossed his path and bowed before him in a gesture of respect.
The National Delegates Conference serves as a platform for party members to deliberate on key internal matters ahead of the flagbearer selection scheduled for January 31, 2026.
Among the major agenda items is a proposal to amend portions of the party’s constitution, including suggestions to expand the electoral college.
