The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, called on the President of the Republic, John Dramani Mahama, on June 23, 2025, at his private residence in Accra.

Visuals of the visit, shared by Opensuo Radio on social media, showed the president receiving Otumfuo at the entrance of his home amid smiles and joy.

The president could be seen ushering the king and his entourage into his home.

The two men were captured sitting on a couch exchanging pleasantries, as they were greeted by the other notable personalities present at the meeting, including the Ashantehene's sub-chiefs and government officials.

After the event, the Asantehene and President Mahama, together with their teams, posed for photos at the entrance of the former president’s home.

The king of Asanteman was in Accra, the nation’s capital, for the graduation ceremony of one of his sons, Oheneba Kwame Kyeretwie, over the weekend.

The Asanteman prince, who also served as Head Boy of the DPS International, graduated on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
