A suspected thief was captured on CCTV after allegedly breaking into a home at Old Barrier in the Greater Accra Region.

A video shared on social media by CDR Africa on June 5, 2026, shows the suspect moving around the house, apparently searching for valuables while no one was present.

According to text accompanying the footage, the suspect allegedly made away with several belongings belonging to the homeowners.

"A thief was captured on CCTV after breaking into a residence at Old Barrier and making away with several belongings belonging to the homeowners," the post stated.

CDR Africa also appealed to the public to assist in identifying the suspect.

"Anyone who recognises the individual or has information that could assist in identifying him is encouraged to contact the nearest police station," the post added.
