Voltarians will live to read the obituaries of war mongers

: Volta chief insist

It appears the condemination of ethnocentric comments made by Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin North Kennedy Agyapong will not cease anytime soon as more and more people continue to wade in.

The latest to join the fray is the chief of Alakple in the Volta Region, Torgbi Kporku.

Addressing the chiefs and people of Anlo at srogbe where 4 chiefs and a queen mother were out doored.

Torgbi Kporku indicated that the people of the Volta Region will respond to anybody or group of people who intend to undermine the peace of the country.

He said the people of the region will live and read the obituary of those he described as congenital lunatics in Ghana.

‘’When good men fail to speak, evil triumphs. These are foreboding days, days when congenital lunatics and sycophants are been carried shoulder- high and been paraded as heroes after making murderous statements ’’.

‘’Let them be warned, we as Anlo’s or as people of the volta region shall never start a war or a fight with anybody because we are peace loving people’’.

‘’But if they dare, we shall fire no guns, we shall throw no stones, we shall wield no cutlasses, we shall use no sledge hammers nor shall we use any bulldozers, but we shall live to read their obituaries, they will not live to take their oath of office’’.

‘’Be warned that our God is a just and peaceful God and he will not see us die in vain,’’ he said.
