Vicent Sowah-Odotei picks form to contest GFA ExCO position

Former Hearts of Oak Chief, Sowah-Odotei has picked nomination forms to contest the Executive Council position in the crucial Ghana FA elections, GHANAsoccernet.com can report

The member of Parliament for Dadekotopon Constituency has thrown himself into the ring to pick one of the five available Premier League slot on the powerful body

He joins other top guns Medeama Board chair Dr Toni Aubynn , Frederick Acheampong of AshantiGold, Kotoko CEO George Amoako, Alhaji Grunsah of King Faisal have all joined the race.

Vicent Sowuah-Odotei has previously contested in the elections for the Presidency with ex-Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi which he lost

There are talks for the two biggest clubs in Ghana, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak to have a representation on the Executive Council hence the decision by Vicent Odotei-Sowah to contest on behalf of the club

Candidates are expected to pick up their forms and submit them by close of work on Friday September 20

Vetting for the qualified candidates is scheduled for September 26 to October 1 with the elections slated for October 25, 2019,in Accra.
