Parliament’s Appointments Committee with today [Monday] March 27, 2017 begins vetting President Nana Akufo-Addo’s Deputy Ministerial nominees.

In all, four Ministers of State and fifty Deputy Ministers would be scrutinized by the committee popularly referred to as vetting committee.

Deputy Majority Leader and Vice Chair of the committee, Hon. Sarah Adjoa Safo, nominated for the position as Minister of State at the Presidency in charge of Public Procurement, will also appear before the committee.

President Nana Akufo-Addo has been widely lambasted over his 110 size government. But the leader says the number was necessary to help resolve and manage the swollen challenges confronting the nation.
