United Cadre Front to observe June 4 in Koforidua

Koforidua, June 4, GNA - The Eastern Regional Branch of the United Cadre Front would celebrate the June 4 anniversary with a massive clean-up exercise at the central business area of Koforidua on Friday. Later in the day, cadres in the region would participate in a symposium to be organised at the Koforidua Legion Hall to mark the day. This made known by the Regional Organiser of the United Cadre Front, Mr Jonathan Kwao-Sarbah, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Koforidua.

He said it was important for the country to remember the important event that opened the gates for the voices of the voiceless to be heard and created the opportunity for people in the grassroots to participate and share fairly in the economic opportunities of the country. The Regional Secretary of the Front, Mr Kwasi Opare, said the anniversary would serve as a rallying opportunity for the regrouping of all cadres and people who share in the ideals of the June 4. 4 June 10
