The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the United States European Command, General Charles F. Wald, is in Accra. General Wald's visit indicates the ongoing U.S. commitment to U.S.-Ghanaian military cooperation.

The General arrived on June 2 and leaves today, June 4, 2003.
