A harrowing story about how a young university graduate ended his life due to the pressures associated with being unemployed has gone viral on social media.

The late university graduate, believed to be called Yussif reportedly could not take the pressure and frustration of staying at home while his mates dressed up to go to work every day.

A Facebook user by name Poko Poko who shared the sad story on his wall recounted how he had the ‘last conversation’ with Yussif the night before he took his life.

According to Poko Poko, Yussif recounted how his mother wanted him to get a job and start living an independent life and also hinted of plans to end his life

Full of regret, Poko Poko admitted that he should have paid more attention to his ‘depressed’ friend’s final remarks.

He went on to reveal that Yussif refused a GHc 10 gift he was giving him because he was ‘shy’.

Poko Poko' woke up at dawn only to find out that his friend Yussif had ended his life like he hinted the night before.
