Two persons have been arrested and assisting police in Odumase Krobo to unravel the circumstances that led to the death of a 20-year-old female teacher.

The suspects, 20-year-old Kwao Noah and Abass Teye were arrested after Sandra Dede Tetteh was found dead in a gutter.

The latest incident brings to three the number of persons found dead at dawn at Agomanya within four months.

The deceased was last seen on Saturday evening with Kwao Noah who is said to be her boyfriend after he visited her and the two subsequently left her house together.

The lifeless body of the Vision Academy teacher at Lorm, a suburb of Odumase was however, found half naked the next morning.

There were bruises around her throat, suggesting possible strangulation.

Mother of the deceased, Paulina Dede Tetteh said her boyfriend visited their home around 8:30 on Saturday evening where the two subsequently left together, apparently to his home.

Assembly Man for Agbom East electoral area where Sandra's lifeless body was found, Daniel Nartey said the case was immediately reported to the police when he was informed.

He says residents feel unsafe following the incident. He cautioned residents to desist from staying out too late into the night to ensure their safety.

The suspect whose house is some four hundred meters away from Sandra's and some two hundred meters from where the body of the deceased was found, admitted picking the deceased from her home but told residents who arrested him that Sandra left his house just after they arrived to collect a mobile phone promised her by a male friend.

Detective Inspector George Koranteng of the Odumase Krobo police command confirmed the incident but declined to speak on record.

Sandra left behind a two-year-old son.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been sent to the Atua government hospital for preservation and autopsy.
