Two communities acquire boreholes in Bosomtwe district

In an effort to support the problematic drinking water prone communities,two newly completed boreholes projects were recently commissioned in the Bosomtwi district of the Ashanti Region

The projects were commissioned in Aduabeng and Asiping zongo in the district respectively at the weekend

The two projects which cost about GhC30,000 was sponsored by Well Foundations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The two boreholes serves as the 62nd and 63rd Wells Foundation charity projects in various communities in the Ashanti Region.

Sheikh Abdul Mushin Baafi, the country representative said, these interventions will go a long way in addressing some of the challenges facing the host communities especially when school children have to treck miles to get water for domestic use.

He said the completed projects are part of the foundations interventions aiming to support drinking water in deprived communities and other sectors.

Sheikh Baafi express happiness about the generous hospitality of the host community and hoped for the best.

Yaa Twumasi, a resident of Aduabeng said, it was very good intervention especially when the dry season is approaching.

She was over-joyed about the borehole gesture and hope the community maintain them properly and use it for the intended purpo
