Two Brigade Basic School receives mathematics textbooks

The Two Brigade Basic School has been presented with large quantity of mathematics textbooks and teachers’ guide to help enhance the teaching and learning of the subject.

The donation was from the Corfe Hill School in Poole, United Kingdom (UK).

The books titled “Essential Mathematics – Volumes One, Two and Three” were handed over to the school by Mr. Philip K. G. Baffour, a UK-based Ghanaian.

He estimated the cost to be about £1,904 and said the gesture was meant to reinforce the warm relationship between the two schools.

He said he was confident both the students and their teachers would find the books useful.

It would help to simplify the teaching of the subject, make it easily understandable to the students to raise performance.

Mr. Bismark Owusu Prempeh, the Assistant Head teacher, said they were grateful for the gesture.
