The New Edubiase Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Prince Anfo Boahen, has called on the party’s supporters in the area to make sure that they register in their numbers during the upcoming biometric voters’ registration exercise.
They should also be alert to stop minors and other unqualified persons from getting their names into the voters’ register.
He was addressing separate meetings with NPP members at Breku and Owusukrom in the Adansi South District.
Mr Boahen asked them to put premium on the exercise because of the critical role it could play in the Decemberl polls and its outcome.
A clean and credible register is necessary to prevent electoral fraud and cheating, he said.
The NPP Constituency Chairman also urged party supporters to step up the political education campaign to win over more voters ahead of the presidential and parliamentary elections.
He said they should accept to work hard and make the necessary sacrifices to bring the party back to power to end the unbearable economic hardships forced on Ghanaians by the Mills Administration.
