Tsatsu Meets GNPC Staff

The out-going chief executive of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Mr.Tsatsu Tsikata yesterday held a meeting with the management and staff of the corporation at which he introduced the newly appointed acting chief executive, Nana Boakye Asafu-Adjeye. In a short speech, Mr. Tsikata who has been appointed energy advisor described the change in leadership at the corporation as a timely one.

He told the workers that "it is very important that as we go into the future with some of these important steps we are taking, the corporation is viewed in terms of the important work it is doing with less political overtones". Mr. Tsikata also stressed that it is important for the activities of the corportation to be less personalised and asked the workers to give the new chief executive the needed support to enable the corporation achieve its objectives.

For his part, Nana Asafu-Adjaye asked for the co-operation of all workers of GNPC to enable it discharge its mandate in the years ahead.
