Deputy Brong-Ahafo Regional Director of the Electoral Commission (EC), Charles Damoah, has cautioned political party agents and observers that EC will not hesitate to hand over any trouble maker to the security agencies during the polls on December 7.
Mr. Damoah made the statement when he spoke to about 70 local election observers from the 28 constituencies in the region, at a regional training workshop for election observers in Sunyani. It was organised by the Institute for Democratic Governance in collaboration with the Civic Forum Initiative, a Non-Governmental Organization.
He asked the party agents and parliamentary candidates report any suspected irregularity including impersonation and multiple voting to the presiding officers and EC officials for appropriate action during the election without violence or aggression.

Explaining the electoral processes to the observers at the workshop stated that; returning, collation and presiding officers would be responsible for the conduct of the election.
IDEG Regional Co-ordinator, the Right Reverend Festus Yeboah-Asuamah speaking at the workshop advised election observers to be impartial in their duties.
“It was a shared responsibility ensuring that the December 07 election was peaceful and credible And It was important everybody accepted to play their expected roles well and played by the rules of the electoral process” he said
