A driver of a truck loaded with timber logs is undergoing treatment with his mate at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after his truck somersaulted on the Sofoline interchange, mangling two stationary vehicles.
The driver was said to have lost control after he tried to swerve a taxi cab which was using the outer lane.
The driver could not control his steering wheel, hit a pavement, and the truck went down with the six loaded timber logs.
The truck was transporting the logs from Kwadaso to Kaase where it was due for offloading at a timber firm.
The driver sustained injuries after he was trapped in the truck with registration number AS 9019-14.
An eyewitness, Adu Poku, narrated that the truck was travelling at top speed.
Police at the Suntreso Police Command have begun investigations into the incident.
An officer at the Motor Traffic and Transport Department of the Suntreso Police Command, Chief Inspector Adu Asare, confirmed there were no casualties.
