Three individuals have lost their lives in the wake of renewed chieftaincy disputes in Abodom, located within the Agona West Municipality of the Central Region.

The fatalities occurred as a result of violent confrontations between rival factions.

According to available information, the violence was sparked by escalating tensions regarding the legitimacy of a recently enstooled chief.

Reports indicate that gunfire was exchanged during the clash, precipitating chaos and panic amongst local residents.
